mainline railway excellent food helpful staff
The location is near two mainline railway stations. This made sightseeing easy. Food in the downstairs restaurant is excellent. The staff was very helpful, especially with metro routes. They made travel convenient. I was grateful for the umbrellas available to rent . This was quite useful during unexpected rain.
The room only had one small window in the bedroom. The skylights were blacked out. This.

I stayed here for a few nights and really appreciated the location near the canal. the restaurant attached to the hotel had excellent food. I ate both dinner and breakfast there. i found that many locals also frequented the restaurant..

vegan choices fresh options no elevator hotel inflexibility
The breakfast had many fresh options, it included vegetarian and vegan choices. I appreciated the vegetable milk for lactose intolerance. It was a PLUS. The hotel restaurant was very good and reserving a table for the weekend is a must, it was always packed.
The hotel did not show any flexibility when i missed the cancellation deadline by 10 hours. There IS NO elevator. I did not enjoy walking up three flights of stairs.

cramped layout street noise
The room layout was not ideal, it felt cramped once I opened my suitcase. I found it inconvenient that the toilet was separate from the shower in two different areas. A fridge in the room would have been very useful! The noise at night was quite disruptive. I could hear street activity and traffic clearly
